Reading Memorial High School and the Institution Jean-Paul II in Rouen, France, have participated in a bi-annual exchange program since 1995. RMHS will be welcoming 20 students and two teachers from October 17th to October 31st 2009. Students will attend classes, visit historic sites in the Boston area and live with host families in the town of Reading. Bienvenue à nos amis français !

On Tuesday, October 20, and on Wednesday, October 21,, the French students and their teachers went to Boston. They took the T into North Station and discovered the beautiful city of Boston with a Trolley tour. They visited the North End - the Italian part of the city ; they went to Faneuil Hall and Quincy market ; they spent time in the museum of fine arts and walked the 293 steps to the top of the Bunker Hill monument!
